Clydesdale Asbestos can carry out all types of asbestos surveys to assist you with managing the risks from asbestos in non-domestic premises under regulation 4 of the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2006 (CAR 2006). Surveys are also designed to provide guidance in situations where surveys may be carried out for other purposes, e.g. to meet legal requirements.

Our surveys are designed to be a useful tool to help assess the risk of asbestos in your premises and are clear and concise, including:-

The scope and extent of the survey.
A plan showing where asbestos is presumed/confirmed to be located.
A table of results detailing the asbestos presumed/confirmed.
The level of risk of the material to release asbestos fibres.
Photos identifying the asbestos sampled.
A conclusion of the findings advising if any action is considered necessary.
We can also provide an assessment which will help you plan how to manage any asbestos found based on the risk it presents. This risk is based upon how easily the product containing asbestos can release asbestos fibres into the atmosphere and the level and frequency of exposure. In many cases the risk may be very low and the asbestos can simply be left in situ and managed.
